Cookie policy
What this website stores in your browser, and how to change your choice.
Last updated: October 2026
What this policy covers
This policy describes the cookies and browser storage this website actually uses today. We keep it updated to match what is really running. If we add anything new, this page and the consent banner will be updated before it goes live.
What we currently use
Essential local storage. We store two things in your browser's local storage so that we do not ask you the same questions on every visit: your cookie choice (accepted or rejected), and the fact that you have acknowledged the Bar Council of India disclaimer. These are necessary for those notices to work. They stay on your device until you clear your browser storage; we set no expiry.
We do not currently use analytics cookies, marketing or advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts (for example Google Analytics or Meta Pixel). No such service is embedded in this site.
Third-party services
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and your IP address is visible to them. We load no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking service. If that changes, we will name the service here, update the consent banner, and ask for your consent before it runs for you.
Your cookie rights
- Manage preferences: you can change your cookie choice at any time using the Manage cookie preferences link here or in the site footer. This reopens the banner so you can change your choice as easily as you gave it.
- Browser controls: most browsers let you view, delete or block local storage and cookies through their settings.
- Withdrawal: withdrawing consent does not affect anything already done in reliance on it, and takes effect immediately for anything going forward.
